Roarminster Dinosaur Trail

This year, Warminster Town Council and the Warminster Business Network (WBN) has created a fun dinosaur trail, transforming the town with six dinosaur models installed at five locations until Saturday 5th September.

Visitors and residents are being encouraged to explore the town, find and learn about the different dinosaurs, enter a prize draw and take part in fun activities with a full programme of dinosaur events planned throughout the summer holidays.

The Chapel of St. Lawrence

St Lawrence Chapel is located on Warminster High Street and is a Non-Royal, interdenominational Peculiar that is completely independent of the the Church of England and is held in Trust for the Town by 12 Feoffees (Trustees). They rely entirely on donations, bequests, fund raising, rental income and grants for major projects and in 2025 was one of the recipients of an Imberbus Charity Donation. 

To welcome all the ImberBus Day visitors to Warminster, the Friends of the Chapel will be serving cream teas on the lawn whilst the Feoffees provide tours of the Chapel and the opportunities to go up into the tower to see the historic 1764 town clock and 1657 bell (Both made in Warminster). They will also have a guest T Rex in the Garden as part of the Roarminster Dinosaur trail ! 

Visitors to the Chapel on the Imberbus day will all have the opportunity to ring the main bell.

Buses, Bustards and Beyond

An exhibition of Imber and Imberbus related cartoons by Julia Roberts will be on display once again in Warminster Library between 10th August and 4th September.

Whilst in Warminster, visit the award-winning Lake Pleasure Grounds. Located in the heart of Warminster, the town’s park is packed with facilities including a splashpad, skatepark, tennis courts, putting green and café. During the summer visitors can hire boats and canoes.
